The backbone of the system is quality data. Our data is sourced from two major data suppliers and is imported directly into the database twice daily.

The company was founded in July 2019, following a request from a ship-owner to verify if the vessels they were conducting STS operations with were free from any sanctions from OFAC, UN, EU, BES HM Treasury, etc. In order to satisfy that request, we have built a standalone database with the aim of providing easy, fast and efficient checks, for users to establish whether the tankers they are using for ship-to-ship cargo or bunkering transfers are free from any sanctions.

Whilst initially built to check for vessel sanctions, the system has since been expanded to investigate whether there are any sanctions associated with the owners or managers of the vessels in addition to check for dark activity, OFAC advisory list etc. The system can also provide details of Port State inspections and casualties.   

In addition to that we provide a media monitoring service, surveilling several major maritime publication websites for details of any confirmed or alleged sanction related vessel reports.
